Guy was born in the South of France (near Avignon) in 1945. He began working with metal as a sheetmetal worker and boilermaker, then went into psychiatric nursing. During the time he lived in Australia 1987-1991, (Newcastle) he started designing and creating iron furniture.

Since his retirement from psychiatric nursing he moved to New Zealand in 2001 and continues with his creations. His pieces include leather, copper, rope or wood with iron and are 1 off or limited series.

His work has been exhibited in France, Italy and Australia.
